A fungicide and algaecide for interior/exterior coatings

Trunka st-40 fungicide and algaecide offers highly effective, broad-spectrum protection against degradation, discoloration and defacement caused by mold, mildew, and algae. It has a unique NaPT chemistry and is a 40% aqueous solution, it can be used as both preservative and dry film fungicide and algaecide.

Applications and Use Levels

Trunka st-40 is used primarily as preservative and a dry-film mildew protector for paint, coatings, stains, paper, plastics, wood etc.  Other applications include adhesives, metalworking fluids, carpet, sheetrock and printing inks. It is easily incorporated into water-based formulations. It can be added efficiently at the appropriate formulation stage. The product exhibits good stability with ionic surfactants and emulsifiers.

Recommended use levels are between 0.3 – 2.5% base on the wet formulation weight.

Transport and Storage

Trunka st-40 is non hazardous substance in the sense of the transport regulation in US standard.

Handling

When handle Trunka st-40, the usual precautions for handling of chemicals should be followed. Avoid contact with skin, wear goggles and gloves. In the event of a spillage, clean the skin with plenty of water and soap, flush eyes with water and buffer solution.
